The singles attending the Feast in beautiful Gatlinburg this year now have over 50 new friends. We started the Feast off with an excellent breakfast at a local pancake house. Hugging old friends, shaking hands and chatting as we met some for the first time and new friendships began. The Feast is such a special time and it was obvious in the love and service of the singles in God's church. The weather outside wasn't perfect but the fun and laughter during our activities made us forget the rain. Every day started in the hospitality area, visiting and planning activities. We enjoyed lunch at the Smoky Mountain Brewery, a country dance, dinner at a very nice restaurant, a formal dance and an excellent picnic provided by Subway, complete with wonderful weather for tennis and basketball.. Our kind and friendly minister, Mr. Fred Kellers, and his adorable wife Kiki, attended several of the activities and then provided a Bible Study with a focus on singles serving in their local congregations. On the Last Great Day we hugged for the last time and promised to stay in touch. And we're doing that. Every morning when I check my e-mail I have at least one new message from a friend. We're busy planning future activities and thinking about where we will attend the Feast next year.
