Change the World?

Have you heard the story of the man who set out to change the world? It wasn't long before he discovered that the world was far too big for one person to change.
So he decided to change his country. Crooked politicians and special interest groups frustrated his efforts, so he decided to change his neighborhood. But his neighbors closed their doors and they shut their windows.

So he decided to change his family. Instead of changing, his children defied him, his wife threatened a divorce and things only got worse.

Finally, the man decided to change himself. When he did that, he changed the world.

You see, no matter what our situation, whether single or married, life works better when you concentrate on changing yourself. It's a great reminder for us to put first things first. Our commitment to God should cause us to stop and think about our need to grow, change and put on the character of Christ. (Ephesians 4:20-24)
When we do that there is no doubt that you can change your world - because it starts with you.
