We are pleased to announce the custom-designed 2006 Feast of Tabernacles Tour in Turkey. This opportunity to visit a treasure chest of ancient ruins will begin in Istanbul, followed by a flight to Izmir (formerly known as Smyrna), where we will begin our tour of six of the seven churches of Revelation. We hope you can join your United Church of God friends and family for this spiritual journey through the land so familiar to John and Paul. It is sure to inspire you.

2006 Singles Registration Information

Here is the information on how many singles are registered for each UCG Feast site in the US and Canada for 2006. Keep in mind single can be anyone from 18 to 118, but at least this will give you an idea of how many registered for each site.

2004 Kerrville Singles Events

Singles who will be attending at Kerrville are already planning activities for all ages to make sure no one is left out. Gloria Vaughn, Syliva Pike, Karen Collins, and Val Hawks will all be staying at Inn of the Hills and want to meet with other singles of all ages right after services every day at the back of the hall. They are already planning a host of activities for anyone who wants to join in, including bowling, swimming, sports and fellowship at the Family Sports Center next to Inn of the Hills. Membership comes free for the week to those staying at Inn of the Hills. Membership for the week is available at a nominal charge for those staying elsewhere.

They are also planning a host of other events: Winery tour/tasting event, Pot Luck event @ Ranch with music and fellowship, Trip to Fredricksburg Herb Farm and Germand town tour/shopping, Trip to San Antonio (visit the Alamo, eat authenic Mexican food, enjoy a River Boat ride, tour the River Walk and enjoy shopping), Singles "Night Out on the Town" with "Dinner and Dancing", to name a few. Make sure to meet after services each day in the room used for the hospitaltity room to touch base with the group, find out what's happening and give your suggestions for other activities. There is no age limit!

The Lexington Feast site has been designated a Singles' site this year. Mr. Gary Smith has been asked to help facilitate any activities that might be of interest to the Singles. Singles Sites for Feast of Tabernacles 2004:

Last year Branson, Missouri, and Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, were designated as singles' Feast sites for the 2003 Feast of Tabernacles. For 2004 the Feast Coordinators requested input from the singles as to what sites YOU wanted to designated as singles sites. The only site that always fills up to capacity and therefore is unavailable as a singles site is Panama City Beach, FL. All other sites were open for your suggestions. The deadline was Februrary 1, 2004. Thanks so much for your input.

Steamboat Springs and Lexington are the designates sites for this year.

Dinner Cruise
It's not too late! You can still join us for an enchanted evening of dining and dancing is planned aboard the yacht, Lady Anderson, on Monday, October 4, at 7:00 P.M. The cost for this very enjoyable evening is $43 per person.

Seminar(s)
A wide variety of topics have been submitted for this years seminar(s) for the singles. We will be meeting at the Edgewater Beach Resort Convention Center on Thursday, September 30 at 10:00 A.M. Light refreshments will be provided.

Singles' Hospitality:
This year we are delighted to announce singles will have the opportunity to fellowship several times before or after services within the Conference Center. The dates set aside for singles to get together and enjoy a friendly, relaxing atmosphere is as follows:
Thursday, September 30 - 10:00 A.M. (seminar scheduled)
Friday, October 1 - 12 Noon
Sunday, October 3 - 9:00 A.M.
Monday, October 4 - 9:00 A.M.
Tuesday, October 5 - 9:00 A.M.
Light refreshments will be available on these days as well. A handout will be available with suggested activities in the Panama City Beach and Destin areas. The handout can be picked up either before opening services, Wednesday, September 29 or before services on Friday, October 1 at the Information Table.

Singles Sites for Feast of Tabernacles 2003:

Branson, Missouri, and Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, have been designated as singles' Feast sites for the 2003 Feast of Tabernacles. If you want the opportunity to socialize with a larger group of singles, then these designated sites are the ones to attend. All U.S. Feast sites will have a singles' hospitality room to provide the opportunity to meet and plan social activities and singles' events.

Kerrville Singles Meeting

For those going to Kerrville, TX for the Feast this year, the first Singles meeting will be on Sunday, October 12, from 9:00-10:30 at the Inn of the Hills Conference Resort. Services will start at 10:30 a.m.

Maui Dinner Cruise--Last Call!

We have an opportunity to have an exclusive Starlight Dinner/Dance evening cruise for singles and young adults on Tuesday, October 14 from 8:30-10:45 PM. The cost is $50, and includes a meal with prime rib or chicken and an open bar, all drinks are free. We still need 80 singles and young adults to sign up who haven't done so already. Panama City Beach Singles Events:

As a reminder, a Singles brunch/seminar and luau are planned this year for PCB. As explained in the 2003 Festival Site Activity Announcement booklet, the cost is $18 per person for the brunch/seminar and $35 for hte buffet meal and dance at the luau. Both must be paid for in advance with a deadline of October 1. Send checks (payable to UCG-Pensacola) to Harold Rhodes, 3878 Bay Wind Dr, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.

Feast of Tabernacles 2002 Panama City Beach FL:

The activity schedule for Panama City Beach is now available. Click this link to view it in PDF format.

There is also a NEW singles activity that was just announced in the August 2002 issue of the United News for this feast site. It's a Luau and Dance poolside on the grounds of the Edgewater Beach Resort. The event is limited to the first 150 people, so you better order fast.

Feast of Tabernacles 2002 Gatlinburg TN:
Singles around the world are invited to enjoy the unique colors of fall near the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg TN. Share the wonderful opportunity for fellowship and friendship with other single brethren. Many excellent activities are planned to enhance this rare opportunity. Singles can join all the brethren in Gatlinburg for family day, a family dance, and the Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show. Trish Allen is also working on a formal dance and country western dance for singles. A restaurant will be designated for each evening to assure that all singles share their meals with friends. A highlight will be a Bible Study designed to address issues shared by singles. A hospitality room will be available each morning (coffee and snacks are available for purchase from the Convention Center). Many outdoor activities such as picnics, hiking, fun parks and more are planned. So make your plans to be with us this year. We welcome your comments, questions or other input.

England Feast 2002:
Attention singles in the United States. You are invited to join a group of singles heading to Grange Over Sands, England for the feast. There are reasonable package rates available.

• Package one is to Grange Over Sands which will include an overnight stay in Edinburg Scotland. The approximate cost is $1,200 to $1,400 US. This includes round trip airfare and housing, excluding cost of meals.
• Package two includes the same as package one plus a four-day side trip to Ireland. To include this, the group will be leaving the US Saturday night, September 14, for a two-day stay in London, England. The stay includes Atonement services in Bricketwood England. Following that we will go to Ireland to tour Dublin and Waterford castle. The approximate cost will be $2,000 US.
